Where to stay
There is lots of nearby accomodation available in the surrounding area all within a 5-15min drive from the venue. Volterra is a beautiful walled city (all walkable) with plenty of hotels, famous for it’s appearance in the Twilight films, the perfect spot to enjoy an Aperol as you fight over whether you’re team Edward or Jacob.
Volterra is walkable, but driving is the best (only) way to get around the wider area. We therefore suggest that you stay either in Volterra or max 15 mins from the venue, especially if you’re not organising your own transport for both days (see FAQs)

Travel
Flying is certainly the quickest option with a flight time of around 2 hours from London
If you prefer to get on the open roads there’s a lovely long (14 hour) drive through France and The Alps
Nearest Airports to Volterra:
Pisa - 1hr drive | 2hrs on public transport (train then bus)
Florence - 1hr 20mins drive | 2hr 20mins on public transport (train then bus)

Taxis in Volterra are non-existent. No problem if you’re staying in the town, but if you’re planning on staying elsewhere you will likely need a car to get around
Dress Code
Big Day Pt 1
Wear whatever is going to make you look in the mirror and say “OhGodYeh”! Strut-worthy clobber that makes you feel 10/10. (inspo below)
Big Day Pt 2
Pool party casual. Bring towels, swimmers, wetsuits, snorkels, goggles, flippers, dancing shoes and we’ll provide the rest
FAQs
Taxis
There are none. We will be organising travel to and from the venue for both days nearer the time with a coach from Volterra and hopefully a minibus for those of your staying in the surrounding area (we’re working on this…!). We will send info nearer the time but please let us know where you book
Parking
Plenty available at the venue and cars can be left until 10am Sunday morning.

We’re dragging you to Italy and that is the biggest we could ask for so please don’t feel the need to do anything more. For those of you who refuse to take no for an answer we are saving for a honeymoon in the coming months and would be most grateful for anything you would like to contribute to that. Link below xo

Young’uns
We have made the decision to have a child free wedding which we hope you understand. Ideally it means you have the opportunity to let your hair down… The most important thing is you’re there, so if this is a problem please reach out. There is a childcare service provided by the venue which we can provide the details on if needed
